my dad just gave me a camera from 1933. my great grandma bought it during the depression for $300. apparently, she was quite wealthy. dang. and, if that wasn't a treat enough, it came with like 6 extra filters, plus 3 that i bought today (not knowing that i had a camera that fit them!, a remote shutter release, and a cold-shoe flash! its astounding. and exciting. PLUS! even better, inside the camera case were all my dad's old vivitar/kenko/hoya filters that fit my nikkor lenses! yesss! a good day indeed :) next, a trip to downtown LA to a)find a place to developed the already-exposed film i found in the camera bag, and b)to buy some more 120 mm film!
