my sample had blood in it (which sounds like its a bad thing, especially from the way the nurse's brow wrinkled in concern). i'm on antibiotics, she's hoping (or in her terms, 85% sure) i have a UTI. gross. so i've downed half a liter of cranberry juice, and am about to go pop some antibiotics that promise some disguisting side effects, that might show up for months after dosing is finished. thats not fun. but probably more fun than feeling like an angry leprechaun with spikey golf shoes is tap dancing around in my lower abdomen. the results of my sample will be back from the lab tomorrow, informing me if i do have an infection. because apparently they couldnt detect anything with their testing materials in the office. that concerns me.
