well, i was going to go do stuff in pasadena tonight with some friends. in fact, i was on my way out the door when i saw that i got a text from Ben and nicole. and i realized, that if i go to pasadena today i'm going to end up being more sad than anything else. its good to spend time with friends, and good to serve people...but in the circumstances that are what they are right now...it would probably be extremely detrimental to my (emotional?) health. therefore...i'm going to a Style Your Sole party for Toms Shoes with the Ruggs. its kind of a bittersweet tradeoff, because i would love to go to pasadena and feed homeless people and hang out with some cool people...but i also need to heal. and i feel like i keep putting myself out there, and i keep getting let down.
