I'm sitting here in starbucks, drinking a venti black iced tea. it's sweetened to the point of being almost disgusting, but it's delicious. I told myself that I would do homework here, but I'm just as distracted as I would be if I were at home. This weekend holds a plethora of opportunities that I am having to sort through at the moment....should I go beach camping with lor/chad/willie/boogs/april? or should I go to the ROCK coaches meeting? should I go to the fall celebration party tomorrow night, or instead have dinner with Ben and Nicole Rugg (that choice I've already made...ben and nicole win...no contest)...

i've started reading The Wheel Of Time series again, by Robert Jordan. i remember leaving off at book 8 (there are like 12 or something books...am i right? i dont know), but it's been probably 6 years since i had read them, so im a little fuzzy on the details. i just remember the day my mom bought me the first book, The Eye of the World, and how i was immediately sure that i'd hate the book. i was wrong, i loved it. i just eventually ran out of time to dedicate to reading them. after all, i was in highschool and i just couldn't afford to spend 6 hours a day reading a huge novel, no matter how fast i read.

i just finished reading through the harry potter series again. i know a bunch of conservative christians that would try to heal me and drive out some demons if they heard that i love those books. i don't care. honestly. they're just books (i seem to recall many warnings over the years of "what do you mean, no harm could come from reading a book?!")

speaking of reading a book....i've waited 300 years for a virgin to light the black flame candle...and i by that i mean i've waited since last halloween to be able to see Hocus Pocus

maybe i'll go home and see if it's on tv...
