i'm excited, this week me and my dad are going up to tehachapi where his side of the family has an old double-wide and an a-frame cabin. the a-frame is just grotesque and filled with rodents, and the doublewide has pretty much collapsed into disrepair in the past few years. i remember going there as a child and spending the night in that place. now, its so unused, that only wild animals are welcome in there. hah. but we're going up so i can reclaim the rest of the dishes that are in there, as well as any paintings or wallpaper samples i can get my hands on. its all decorated 70's style, with amazing shag carpet and an avacado refridgerator. i'll see if i can find any records, too, because i remember seeing a bunch of those up there. ooh, and the old dominoe set that me and grandpa used to play with...i'm gonna make a list of stuff to look for.
